Blood Drive May 7th

Many are asking how they can help their community during the COVID-19 pandemic. So, you have that opportunity as we at St. Monica will be having our “extra” Blood Drive Thursday, May 7, 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.in the GYM to help with the need for blood during these trying times. At this time, there will be no walk in appointments. We have 51 slots to fill. Blood donations are allowed and encouraged even with the state stay-at-home orders. Donating blood is an essential service. If you have trouble scheduling, let me know and I will help.

Teens 16 years of age or older may donate with parental permission. They may donate on their own if 17. https://www.bloodcenter.org/donate/donor/requirements-faq/

If you cannot make this date, contact the Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center within a week of the blood drive at blood donation locations at Crestwood: https://www.bloodcenter.org/donate/locations/missouri/crestwood/ or at the St. Peter’s location: https://www.bloodcenter.org/donate/locations/missouri/st-peters/. Tell them our St. Monica code which is 9241 at registration, and ask that your donation be credited to St. Monica for the school Life$aving Grant.  Also, let me know at [email protected]  or 314.484.6121 cell so we get the proper credit. Note that there will be more special precautions in place.
