Update for the 1st Eucharist Retreat. I did not know about the change in Spring Break until after the retreat was arranged and ST. Monica had Spring Break this past week. I am sorry, but this is the best we can do right now.
March 24—no class due to Parkway Spring Break & 1st Reconciliation Retreat at 6:30 pm-8:00 pm. in the church with MORE–One parent must be with their student. Please try to make it in person if possible.
For those on vacation for Spring Break, I am trying to live Stream the retreat. Each student should watch this with a parent. There are parent discussions involved. I will see if we can get it on the PRS tab on the website for a couple of weeks.

Join our faith community—and more than 12,000 Catholic communities across the United States—in a Lenten journey with CRS Rice Bowl. Pick up your CRS rice bowl from the lobby in Church. The Rice Bowls are to donate money to give to Catholic Relief Services(CRS) to help feed the hungry, clothe the naked, give drink to the thirsty, provide medical help and spiritual help to people around the world. CRS also uses the money for missionaries to travel to these countries and teach them to fish, hunt, and cook to provide what their family needs. The students at St. Monica Catholic School will be learning about 3 children from Madagascar, El Salvador, and Timor-Leste who have gotten help by the CRS. You can join us by visiting crsricebowl.org and scroll on resources in the purple bar and click on grades 1-8. Please consider giving a donation and returning the rice bowl with cash or check to the school or church by April 4th-9th. Thank you.
If you have any questions, please contact the DRE, Amy Love, at [email protected].
St. Monica Parish School of Religion (PSR) is a Catholic community empowered by the Holy Spirit, the Sacraments, and Prayer. We are called to grow in Catholic faith and love, to proclaim the Gospel values, and to minister to the St. Monica Parish family. We continue our apostolic mission to spread the Good News and to follow our baptismal call to be the Body of Christ.
Our vision is faith filled. Faith is a gift from God which grows and develops throughout our life journey. As a people of faith we look at our actions, both in our Parish Community and in the world, in a different way than people who are not. We assist our children and their parents to understand our Catholic Faith and nurture them in their faith. St. Monica PSR is dedicated to providing resources and opportunities for families to learn, celebrate, and grow in our Catholic Faith.
