Saturday, September 12, is the installation of our new pastor, Fr. Thomas Wyrsch. He will be installed by the Bishop Mark Rivituso. Because of the COVID-19 and the St. Louis County Health Department Guidelines, we need to follow strict orders on how to handle the installation Mass and the reception.

We will take reservations for the installation. We are able to have 115 people in church.

For the reception, the reservation times must be staggered. Those who attend the ceremony, will need a separate reservation to attend the reception, which weather-permitting, will be outside on the lower parking lot near the soccer field. Outside only 50 people are able to gather at a time. If attending the ceremony you may make a reservation between 6:30-7:30 P.M. For the reception only additional shifts from 7:30-8:00 P.M. and 8:00 to 8:30 P.M. are available. If you already placed a reservation at the office please call back and specify installation only and/ or reception time. E-mail Patty at the rectory of your choice at [email protected]

Please go to church and we will call you when it is time for you to get to your table. Families can sit together but others will have to be more careful of being 6-feet apart.

Parking—use the front, side lots and upper back parking lot. The lower lot will not be accessible.

All who attend have to check for COVID symptoms before coming to be sure they feel healthy. In addition, masks (except when eating), social distancing and handwashing will be required for attendance at either event.

At the reception, you will be given a prepared plate of food and water and be assigned to a table to meet Fr. Wyrsh and the Bishop. Follow the direction of the volunteers as all activities have had to be approved by St. Louis County and we need to be in compliance. So, if things seem a little different, well, it’s because things are very different.

We want to welcome our new pastor and the Bishop as be as safe as possible. Pray for a beautiful evening and remember to call the Rectory to reserve your spot, 314.434.4211 or email Patty at [email protected].

And, thank you for your understanding ahead of time.
